LED TVs
A retro TV head with a 3,840-LED screen inside. Sold on its own — the head is the product; the suit underneath is yours.

What makes it different
A screen where a face should be.
The head is a television shell rebuilt around an LED matrix — 3,840 diodes at 80 × 48, behind the glass. Test patterns, static, colour bars, animations or a logo: whatever you load, it runs at full brightness.
It is sold as the head alone. You supply the suit, the gloves and the performer — which keeps the price down and lets you match the character to whatever you are already doing.
See it move
Whatever you record, it plays.
The EleVArts controller comes with an app for recording your own effects and the mapping file for this exact screen, so what you build lands pixel-for-pixel on the 80 × 48 matrix.
Filmed on one of our own heads, straight off the bench.
On the screen
Put your logo on it.
The screen is programmable, so the content is briefed like any other media: a logo, a countdown, a colour that matches the room, or the retro test card the character is built around.
Order more than one and we can synchronise them on request — the same animation stepping across every head at once, or each one showing something different.

Batteries ship inside Romania only
The head runs on 8 Li-Ion 18650 cells rated at least 10A continuous discharge. For orders inside Romania the cells are included. We are not allowed to ship lithium cells abroad, so international orders arrive without them — source them locally and check the 10A rating, because anything lower is a genuine fire risk.
Optional add-ons
Add if you want them
Prices go up here once they are set. Ask us and you get the figure by return message.
One thing on the cell holders
They can be damaged if a battery goes in the wrong way round. Match the polarity every time — the markings are on the holder.
Delivery, warranty & support
What we tell you up front
The screen is the fragile part
An LED matrix behind glass does not like impact or being packed loose. Travel it in a padded case and check the connector before each use. A dead pixel line is the one thing an audience notices.
You can fix it yourself
The repair kit ships with a connector and spare LEDs, and we walk you through the swap. No sending it back across a border for one diode.
Support does not stop at delivery
Message us about mapping, effects or a fault and you get a real answer from the people who built it.
Message us before ordering.
Every head is built to order. Tell us where you are shipping to and when you need it, and you get availability, lead time and a firm price.
Frequently asked
Before you order
Do I get the suit as well?
No. The product is the TV head on its own — controller, software, cell holders and repair kit included. The black suit, gloves and shoes in the photos are ours, and you supply your own. That keeps the price down and lets you dress the character however you like.
Can I put my own content on the screen?
Yes, that is the point. The EleVArts controller ships with an app for recording your own effects and with the mapping file for this exact screen, so a logo, a countdown or a full animation lands pixel-for-pixel on the 80 × 48 matrix.
Do the batteries come with it?
Inside Romania, yes — 8× 18650 cells rated at least 10A continuous. We are not allowed to ship lithium cells abroad, so international orders arrive without them. Buy them locally and check the 10A rating; anything lower is a real fire risk.
Can the wearer see out?
Yes. The screen reads as solid from the audience side while the wearer sees through it, so they can walk, gesture and interact normally.
What happens if an LED fails?
You replace it. Every head ships with a repair kit containing a connector and spare LEDs, and we talk you through the swap. Support is free for as long as you own it.
Can several TVs be synchronised?
Yes, on request. Two or more heads can run the same content in step, so an animation moves across all of them at once instead of each looping on its own. Tell us how many units you are ordering and we set it up before it ships.
How much does it cost?
From €2,650 per unit, excluding VAT. The final figure depends on quantity and where it ships — message us and you get a firm price and a lead time.
